Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing: knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing (1 Peter 3:9).
Abraham and
Abraham didn’t care what part of the land he got because he was a blessed man. A blessed man really doesn’t care what you give him because he knows he’s carrying a blessing that could make him prosper no matter what happens. By faith, Abraham took his own portion of the land and God’s blessing came upon it, but Lot’s seemingly good part, Sodom, was eventually destroyed by fire when God’s judgment came upon it.
Some people complain bitterly about how they’ve been cheated, victimized or marginalized by others. They give these excuses as reasons for their failure in life. You’re the seed of Abraham and the blessing is at work in you. That blessing is what guarantees your prosperity, no matter where you find yourself in life.
It was that blessing at work in Isaac that made him dig wells and find water where others had tried and failed. It was the same blessing at work in Jacob that made him prosperous though he left his father’s house without any property. If you get a hold of this truth, you’ll never be disadvantaged or discouraged another day in your life, because you’ll know that the blessing of Abraham is at work in you twenty-four hours a day. That blessing gives you the advantage.
Confession
I’m the seed of Abraham and I've been called to inherit a blessing. I’m blessed everywhere I go, and the blessing of God upon my life gives me the unparalleled advantage to win in life today and every day, in Jesus Name.
